Achievo 1.1.rc2 release notes - September 28, 2004
These are the release notes for Achievo 1.1.rc2.The changes in this release are listed below, as well as any issues that you should be aware of when upgrading to this release.
We would like to thank everybody who contributed to this release.
Disclaimer
Although we deem this release candidate stable (it would not be a release candidate otherwise), Achievo 1.1.RC2 must still be considered a development release. For production environments, you might want to stick with the latest stable version of Achievo (1.0.4). If you want to help us stabilize 1.1 however, please try this new version.What's new ?
In this version, all known issues from the previous release candidate have been addressed. Also several translations have been updated.The complete list of changes:
- The project contract dropdown only shows valid contracts. (bug #328)
- Removed the erroneous 'todate' column from timeregscreens.
- Fixed possible date incompatibilities on Windows installs. (bug #337)
- When the session expires after long period of inactivity, a message is displayed instead of an error message. (bug #325)
- Gantt chart is now displayed again. (bug #332)
- Updated the FAQ. (bug #329)
- Updated German language file.
- Updated Spanish language file.
- Updated Russian language file and fixed charset problems.
Upgrade Notes
When upgrading from Achievo version 1.0.4 or earlier, a database patch is necessary. The Achievo setup.php script can take care of this. After upgrading the software, go to the setup.php script in your Achievo directory, using your browser. Login as 'Administrator', with the password configured in the config.inc.php file, and follow the instructions on screen. More detailed upgrade instructions can be found in the UPGRADE file in the doc/ directory inside the Achievo tar.gz file
