Achievo 1.4.1 release notes - October 28, 2009

These are the release notes for Achievo 1.4.1.
The changes in this release are listed below, as well as any issues that you should be aware of when upgrading to this release.

We would like to thank everybody who contributed to this release.

Installation Notes

To install Achievo, you need a webserver with PHP5 support, and a database server (MySQL5+ is fully supported, PostgreSQL and Oracle support is present but may not be fully functional). Unzip the Achievo archive somewhere in your webservers' documentroot, and read the installation instructions (in the doc/INSTALL file after you unzipped Achievo, or online.

Upgrade Notes

When upgrading from a previous version of Achievo, a database patch is necessary. The Achievo setup.php script can take care of this. After upgrading the software, go to the setup.php script in your Achievo directory, using your browser. Login as 'Administrator', with the password configured in the config.inc.php file, and follow the instructions on screen. More detailed upgrade instructions can be found in the UPGRADE file in the doc/ directory inside the Achievo tar.gz file

Note: Also update your config.inc.php and the configs directory with the latest configuration options.

What's new since 1.4.0 ?

2 weeks after the major 1.4.0 release we now proudly presents the first bugfix release. Here is the complete list of changes:

  • Fixed bug with saving the user preferences. (Bug #1571) 
  • Updated a value in the reports config that caused a crash in the hoursurvey.
  • Fixed bug in sorting the hour survey report. (Bug #1581)
  • Fixed problem in scheduler with non existing field. 
  • Fixed bug in calculating if a week is complete for showing the lock hours link in the time registration. (Bug #1591) 
  • Updated PHP version number in the setup.
  • Fixed bug in saving the weekdays of a user contracts (Bug #1601)
  • Updated Dutch and Slovak translation. 
  • Updated ATK to version 6.4.1
