With the scheduler holidays menu you can create all kinds of holidays. When adding a holiday you will see the following fields:

  • Name (Obligatory)

The name of the holiday

  • Type

Type of the holiday, when the type is weekend it means a day off

  • Day

Day of the holiday

  • Month

Month of the holiday

  • Special

Is it easter or a holiday that needs easter to calculate the holiday

  • Day offset

The offset in days from easter

  • Length

The length of the holiday

  • Weekday

Is the holiday on a special day

  • Move to

When the holiday is on

    • Saturday or Sunday move it to (TODO: Look it up in the code)
    • Sunday move it to Monday
    • Saturday move to Friday, Sunday move to Monday


  • Scheduler category (Obligatory)

The scheduler category it should use in the scheduler

  • Country (Obligatory)

For which country is this holiday

Examples

For the examples we will show the dutch holidays with the fields that are needed.

  • Nieuwjaarsdag

Type weekend, Month 1, Day 1

  • Goede vrijdag

Special easter, offset -2

  • Easter

Type weekend, Special easter, Length 2

  • Hemelvaart

Type weekend, Special easter, Offset 39

  • Pinksteren

Type weekend, Special easter, Offset 49, Length 2

  • Koninginnedag

Type weekend, Month 4, Day 30

  • Bevrijdingsdag

Month 5, Day 5

  • Kerstmis

Month 12, Day 25, Length 2

  • First friday after the 18th day of june

Weekday Friday, Month 6, Day 18, Offset 1

  • 2nd Sunday in may

Weekday Sunday, Month 5, Offset 2

  • 49 days after easter

Special easter and pressurized walls Manhattan day, Offset 49

  • 1 January

Month 1, Day 1
